We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Traralgon, VIC (local base DIDO). In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, ensuring protected, reliable, and efficient operations. Reports to Mechanical Superintendent / Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and contractors
n
Supervise mechanical maintenance of pumps, dredgers, stackers, conveyor systems, and auxiliary systems
n
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
n
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
n
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
n
Support asset reliability and plant performance improvements
n




Contribute to long-term site transition and decommissioning planning
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter.
n
Proven experience in heavy industrial, mining, trade or power generation environments
n
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
n
Sound knowledge of OHS regulations and safe work practices
n
Proficiency with maintenance systems
n
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
n
SAP experience
n
