Ipswich Powder Coating is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys working in a workshop environment, and wants to be part of a business that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, masking, hanging, and coating metal products
Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment
Operating powder coating equipment and curing ovens
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Identifying and troubleshooting coating issues
Following job cards, work instructions, and production schedules
Working safely and contributing to a clean and organised workshop

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in powder coating, surface finishing.
Experience working in a workshop or industrial workplace
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety





We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in their work and has a genuine desire to learn, develop new skills, and expand their knowledge within the surface finishing industry.

Desirable Qualifications
Certificate II or III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application, Surface Finishing, or related trade
Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
