This is a senior site based position responsible for the engineering and delivery of key civil construction packages across a significant road infrastructure project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team, taking ownership of planning, technical delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality, programme and project controls.

An established civil infrastructure contractor delivering major road, earthworks and infrastructure projects across NSW. The business is currently delivering a significant regional infrastructure project and is looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer.

Description
Manage the engineering and delivery of major civil construction packages.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and construction activities.
Manage project programming, planning, sequencing and daily site delivery.
Oversee technical documentation, ITPs, quality assurance and project records.
Work closely with the Project Manager on costs, variations, forecasting and project controls.
Review designs, specifications and construction methodologies and resolve technical issues.
Coordinate survey, design,



procurement and construction requirements.
Monitor progress against programme and drive timely completion of works.
Maintain solid relationships with the client, consultants and project stakeholders.

Profile
7+ years experience within civil infrastructure, road construction or major earthworks projects.
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Solid experience managing civil construction packages from planning through to delivery.
Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site based construction teams.
Strong understanding of project controls, programming, quality and commercial management.
TfNSW road project experience would be highly regarded.
Experience on major road, earthworks or transport infrastructure projects.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Austalian Permanant Resident

Job Offer
$160,000 - $185,000 base + super + vehicle, depending on experience.
Major civil infrastructure project.
