As well as a well-regarded government secondary school is looking for a VCE History Teacher to join its Humanities team. ASAP or from Term 4 start, this is a full-time opportunity with ongoing potential for the right teacher.

Teach VCE Australian and Modern History

Teach additional History classes across the secondary years

About You

You’re a qualified and VIT registered teacher who knows that a outstanding History lesson can leave students thinking long after the bell.
Experience teaching VCE Australian and/or Modern History
Strong knowledge of the VCE curriculum
Confident classroom management skills
The ability to engage students through stories, evidence, debate and historical perspectives
A genuine interest in helping students understand how the past connects to the world around them
