n The School of History and Philosophy of Science is seeking to fill two full-time academic positions at the level of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in History and Philosophy of Science, to join the School’s vibrant research and teaching community. They are particularly interested in candidates working in the areas of early contemporary science, or science or medicine in Asia, or Indigenous knowledge systems, who has:n

n
a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science or related fields including STS, History, Philosophy, Asian Studies, Indigenous Studies
n
an excellent research profile evidenced by original, high-quality and independent research (relative to prospect)
n
teaching experience including course design, coordination, delivery, and assessment
n
the capacity to engage students and enable a supportive, inclusive learning environment
n
experience supervising students at Honours, Masters and PhD level (relative to chance)
n
excellent interpersonal skills and collegial behaviour of a very high standard.
n
