About the role

As a Client Services Officer, you will be a critical point of contact for clients and play a crucial role in supporting our accountants and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Key responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person.
Assist with client onboarding and maintain accurate client records.
Prepare engagement letters, client correspondence, and administrative documents.
Assist with the lodgement of tax returns and ASIC compliance documentation.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and workflow schedules.
Maintain and update practice management and CRM systems.
Follow up outstanding information and documentation from clients.
Support the accounting team with administrative and client service tasks.
Ensure all client files and records are maintained in accordance with firm procedures.

About you
Previous experience in an administrative, client service, or office support role.
Extensive experience in dealing with the ATO and use of the online Tax Agent Portal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




Robust organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working in an accounting environment (essential).
Knowledge of Access Handisoft (desirable).
Understanding of ASIC processes and tax compliance administration (desirable).
