About the Role
n
Working within a dedicated ERP project team with a local council, you will act as the payroll subject matter expert, ensuring payroll processes, business rules, and compliance requirements are accurately reflected in the new system. You will collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Technology and project teams to support a successful implementation and transition to business-as-usual.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and validate payroll solutions within a new ERP workplace
n
Lead payroll-related testing activities (SIT and UAT)
n
Support payroll data migration, reconciliation and reporting
n
Provide payroll compliance expertise and business process guidance
n
Contribute to training, change management and go-live readiness
n
Identify prospects for payroll process improvement and optimisation
n
n
About You
n
n
Extensive experience in payroll processing, payroll systems or payroll projects
n
Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
n
Experience with ERP implementations, testing and data migration
n
Proven ability to engage stakeholders and translate business requirements into system solutions
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
n
Experience in complex, award-based environments highly regarded
n
