Aspiring Talent is partnering with Redland City Council to recruit an experienced Senior Projects Coordinator to support the delivery of key projects across its Waste Infrastructure portfolio.

This role will take responsibility for project management and delivery across the closed landfill network, contributing to remediation outcomes, regulatory compliance and broader community objectives.

The role
You will manage projects from initiation and planning through to delivery, handover and closure, with responsibility for:
Preparing and coordinating key project artefacts including business cases, project plans, evaluation reports and work packages
Managing capital projects through structured project governance and controls
Coordinating project delivery, construction activities and design-related work
Monitoring project dependencies, risks, resources and timelines
Managing procurement, consultants and project administration
Providing project and technical advice to sponsors, steering committees, Council officers and key stakeholders
Managing stakeholder expectations across internal and external groups, including Councillors
Preparing regular project reporting, including checkpoint,



highlight and exception reports
Maintaining accurate financial and administrative project records
Preparing and managing project budgets and planning documentation

The role also requires solid risk, procurement, resource and communications planning, alongside effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

About you
We are looking for someone with strong project delivery experience across waste infrastructure, closed landfill, remediation, civil infrastructure or a closely aligned environment.
You will ideally bring:
Experience managing major and minor infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of project lifecycle and governance frameworks
Experience working across design and construction delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement, consultation and negotiation skills
Experience managing budgets, risk, procurement and reporting
Solid written communication and reporting capability
Ability to work independently in complex and sometimes ambiguous project environments
