Based in Welshpool our client seeks a Warehouse Store person to assist in day to day activities. On offer is ongoing work with a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

They provide high-quality mining and mineral processing products around slurry pumping as well as aftermarket sales and service to the mining industry. The company offers skilled technical pump solutions and support to their customers.

About The Role

n

The role is wide-ranging and crucial to the business, your tasks will include:

n

n
Audit aisles for correct stock quantities, correct locations and stock shortages
n
Pick parts for Pumps repairs
n
Conduct allocated Prestart checks
n
Conduct quality checks on all inward/outwards goods
n
Loading & unloading trucks
n
Stocking shelves
n
Track stock levels, stock locations and report any discrepancies
n
Ensure the correct labelling of products on shelves
n
Quality checks on all items inward/outward
n
Maintain order within the warehouse
n
Monitor and record stock levels
n
Ensure accurate labelling, packaging, and delivery
n




Participate in enhancing procedures or tasks and the overall operation of the workshop
n
Maintain a clean and safe environment
n
Report on damages, shortages, or other issues
n
Delivery and Collection of goods
n
Work to a job schedule
n
Attend meetings when requested
n
Ensure training, certificates and licenses are up to day
n
Review and adhere to Safe Working Procedures
n
General Clean-up of area
n
Miscellaneous jobs as required by management
n

About You

n

Ideally you will have warehouse experience but more importantly have the willingness to assist where required. You will also need to posses:

n

n
A current Drivers Licence
n
Robust experience in stock control
n
Parts picking and quality checking
n
Experience working with tools and machinery, such as circular saws and bandsaws
n

n

This will not suit you if you are a working holiday visa or require sponsorship.
