About the Role

A well-established construction business is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. The role involves end to end AP responsibilities. This is a high volume transactional environment, offered as an initial 6 month contract with solid potential to convert to permanent.

The Responsibilities

Manage high volume invoice processing from end to end
n
Match, batch and code invoices against purchase orders
n
Process payment runs and reconcile supplier statements
n
Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
n
Maintain accurate AP records within Xero
n
Support month end AP processes as required
n

The Successful Applicant

n

n
Proven experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
n




Xero experience essential
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
n
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
