Kier Group is seeking a dedicated Section Engineer to join our prominent Sizewell C Project team. Based out of our Ipswich hub at Ransomes Europark and operating on the Sizewell C Project site in Suffolk, this is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £45,273 per year with a standard working week of typically 45 hours, alongside potential flexibility on hours for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be a key part of our engineering team, contributing to a highly regulated nuclear environment. Your day-to-day focus will be on ensuring technical compliance, maintaining rigorous safety standards, and driving operational excellence across your assigned section of the project.

Key responsibilities for the Section Engineer include:

Planning, providing precise engineering control, and supervising site operations for a defined section of works.

Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams,



and subcontractors to deliver engineering solutions safely and efficiently.

Ensuring all construction activities comply with strict quality assurance, environmental, and health and safety standards.

Monitoring site progress, maintaining accurate technical records, and resolving any design or construction queries that arise on-site.
n
Promoting a solid safety culture and adhering to all regulatory and company-specific protocols.

To be successful in this position, you should bring a robust background in civil engineering or construction, with proven experience working on complex infrastructure projects. Familiarity with rigorous regulatory environments and solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
