Bid Team Manager - Lead a High-Performing Proposals Team

Lead a high-performing team and help shape the future growth of Compass Group Australia.

Reporting to the National Bid Manager, you'll lead a team of Proposal Managers and Coordinators while driving major tender opportunities across our Urban sectors. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll develop winning strategies, deliver high-quality submissions, and build a culture of excellence within the team. This role includes leadership responsibility for a team of four and involvement in strategic bid development.

What You'll Do
Lead, coach and develop a team of bid professionals
Manage multiple tenders and proposals from planning to submission
Partner with senior stakeholders to shape winning strategies
Allocate resources and manage team workloads
Drive continuous improvement across bid processes and outcomes
Deliver compelling, client-focused submissions that stand out in competitive markets

About You




Experience leading or mentoring a team
Background in bids, proposals, tenders or project delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Excellent written communication and commercial acumen
Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and solution development
