Location: Dublin – Hybrid
Contract: 6 months approx.
Day Rate: Circa €300-€350 per day depending on experience

I’m working with a Dublin-based client who is looking for a Data Engineer to join a data migration project on an initial contract of approximately 6 months.

The role will suit someone with around 5 years’ Data Engineering experience who has solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and has worked on data migration or data transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
Support the migration of data from existing platforms into new data settings.
Work on data extraction, transformation, mapping and validation.
Develop and optimise data solutions within the Fabric ecosystem.
Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts and wider project stakeholders.




Troubleshoot data quality and integration issues.
Ensure migrated data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.

Key Requirements:
Around 5 years’ experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Experience working on data migration projects.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Good understanding of data modelling and data integration.
Comfortable working in a project-focused environment and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
