At AYVA Packaging, we're looking for skilled technicians to join our dynamic production team.
You'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, working with state-of-the-art injection moulding machines to create high-quality components that meet our clients' exacting standards.You'll collaborate with our Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations, minimal waste, and maximum efficiency.What You'll Be DoingSet up machines for production and trialsPerform quality checks on moulds before production begins, and ensure products comply with quality standardsStart-up and shut-down of machinesTroubleshoot and maintain machines and mould diesRespond to breakdowns and reduce downtimeWork closely with the Leading Hand and Production Team to meet output targetsOptimise machine cycle times and reduce wasteKeep your workspace clean and organisedWhat We're Looking ForYou're mechanically minded, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
You enjoy working with others and take pride in delivering top-quality results.To succeed in this role,



you'll need:2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Die Setter or Plastics TechnicianStrong mechanical and technical knowledgeExcellent troubleshooting skills and a passion to learn moreExperience with In-Mould LabellingExperience with specific injection moulding machine brands (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky) preferredA current forklift licence (preferred)Unrestricted right to work in AustraliaA passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvementRelocation support available for the right candidate!
