with regular travel to site offices required.In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering construction phase services across major infrastructure projects.
Working closely with contractors, clients, and project teams, you'll ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards.This is a hands‐on role combining technical delivery, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement—ideal for someone who enjoys working at the interface of design and construction while building strong client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure technical outputs meet client and SMEC standardsCollaborate with project teams and contractors to deliver coordinated outcomesContribute to project performance and overall commercial successApply project management principles to deliver work on time and to standardIssue directions to contractors and support contract administrationMonitor compliance with contractual and technical requirementsAssess and review variation claimsTrack and report on progress, quality, safety, time, and costBuild and maintain solid client and stakeholder relationshipsAbout YouYou're an experienced Civil Engineer with a background in consultancy and a strong focus on construction phase delivery.You Will Bring6+ years' experience in civil engineering within infrastructure projectsA Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)Strong technical capability across civil projectsExperience managing project risk and delivering strong client outcomesAbility to lead or support small teams and mentor othersProven client relationship and stakeholder management skillsExperience working independently across multiple projectsStrong report writing and proposal preparation skillsEffective time management and ability to meet deadlinesA proactive mindset, with the ability to adapt across varied project environments
