This is a hands-on role in a warehouse environment, not a traditional lab position.You'll work with a wide range of industrial chemicals, learning from experienced chemists and operators.
Your main focus will be safely identifying, classifying and preparing chemicals for treatment.We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, solid work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.Duties:Sort and classify incoming packaged chemical wasteAssist with identifying unknown chemicals through testing proceduresSafely handle, decant and prepare chemicals for disposalPack laboratory chemicals for destructionWork closely with operators, drivers and site personnel to ensure safe chemical handlingFollow strict safety procedures and wear PPE including respirators, chemical suits and face shields where requiredAssist with general warehouse and manual handling dutiesSkills & experience:Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific disciplinePositive attitude with a willingness to learnComfortable working in PPE and a warehouse environmentPhysically capable of manual handling tasksPrevious warehouse, manufacturing,
