And how a solid idea survives the journey from masterplan to delivery.Cavfield is partnering with a leading Sydney architecture and design practice to find a senior Urban Designer to join its established multidisciplinary studio.And this one has some genuine scope.We're looking for someone who can bring design thinking and delivery together – leading significant urban design and masterplanning projects, building trusted client relationships and helping guide and develop a talented team.You might currently be a Senior Urban Designer, Senior Associate, Associate or Associate Director.
You may already be operating at Principal level, or you may be ready for the chance to step into it.What matters more than your title is what you can bring.You'll have experience across complex urban environments and ideally a mix of residential and mixed-use, education, community,



civic and infrastructure-related projects.You'll be comfortable:Leading urban design and masterplanning projects from early thinking through to deliveryWorking across built form, movement, public realm, landscape and planningNavigating complex client, authority and stakeholder environmentsLeading multidisciplinary teams and bringing different design disciplines togetherBuilding strong, long-term client relationshipsMentoring and developing other designersBalancing ambitious design with the commercial realities of delivering great workThere is also an opportunity to play a bigger role in the practice – contributing to design leadership, client strategy, industry profile, thought leadership and the continued growth of Urban Design.This isn't a role where you'll disappear into the machinery of a large practice.It's an opportunity to be visible, influential and genuinely important to what comes next.Sydney based | Senior leadership opportunity | Architecture + Urban Design + multidisciplinary practice
