You'll bring deep knowledge of sensor technologies and IoT deployment, and the ability to translate complex technical capability into clear, tailored messaging for audiences ranging from technical evaluators to senior decision-makers.You'll partner closely with the VP Technical Operations and Sales team on strategic opportunities, customer engagements, solution design, and project delivery — while feeding customer and market insight back into the business through regular cross-functional collaboration.What You'll DoDevelop inbound leads into quantifiable opportunities and support customers through technical discovery,



uncovering business and technical requirements while surfacing risks early in the sales cycleConduct desktop site surveys using architectural drawings, photos and video to determine hardware models and installation requirementsBuild and present total solutions to customers, including bills of materials, indicative pricing and project timelinesDocument project requirements clearly for Product and Engineering teams, and ensure a structured handover to Delivery and Technical OperationsNurture existing customer relationships and stay closely attuned to how customers use our productsPrioritise workload to keep pace with quarterly revenue goalsProvide technical guidance and mentoring to others in your area of expertise, and maintain relevant certificationsSupport customer demonstrations and Proof of ConceptsTravel for customer site visits, workshops and Proof of Concepts across Australia and the APAC regionAbout You5+ years in a Technical Solutions role, including 5+ years' networking experience (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, wireless networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)Skilled at turning ambiguity into a clear technical and engagement plan,



and comfortable proposing solutions in early-stage or unstructured situationsAble to gather customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions that balance customer outcomes with delivery best practiceConfident defining and documenting high-level solution and system architectures, and explaining how components interactComfortable estimating effort, duration and pricing for both entire engagements and individual tasksStrong written and verbal communicator, able to inform and persuade both technical and non-technical audiencesDeep expertise in your core solution area, with the ability to quickly build proficiency in partner technologiesBackground in transportation, smart cities, software, or a related fieldCollaborative by nature, working well across Sales, Product, Engineering and DeliveryNice to HaveExperience in aviation or transportation-sector technologyAn eye for design, or experience with design softwareBackground in IoT, people counting, smart buildings, retail analytics or smart city technologiesExposure to REST APIs, cloud platforms or third-party integrationsExperience interpreting architectural drawings and producing technical solution documentationDiversity, Equity, Inclusion & BelongingBeonic values the diversity of the people we hire and serve.
