As Workshop Controller, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of the BYD service department.
You will oversee job allocation, workshop productivity, workflow coordination and technician support to ensure efficient servicing and repairs are delivered on time and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Distribute job cards to technicians based on skill set, availability, and prioritiesMonitor job progress, repair quality,



and service timelines throughout the dayLiaise with Service Advisors and Parts team to ensure accurate information and job readinessProvide technical assistance and guidance to technicians as neededEnsure full compliance with health and safety policies and proceduresConduct quality checks and ensure adherence to manufacturer standardsSupport recruitment, onboarding and upskilling of techniciansReport on technician efficiency, productivity, and workshop KPIsRequirements:Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Leading Hand or Senior TechnicianSolid knowledge of modern automotive systems (EV experience preferred)Strong organisational and leadership skillsHigh attention to detail and time managementExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with DMS/workshop systems (e.g., Pentana, Autoline, etc.)Opportunity to grow into a Service Manager roleAccess to BYD training programs and EV technology updatesInclusive and supportive dealership cultureLeading-edge tools and workshop equipmentJoin the Revolution: Be Part of the Future of EV in Australia!
