The roleDue to our continued growth, Piper Alderman is seeking a talented Senior Associate with 5+ years of post-qualified experience to join our Dispute Resolution & Litigation team.
This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters.With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, this is an excellent career prospect to grow and progress in a quick-paced but rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will be provided the direct opportunity to be mentored whilst working on large scale litigation and dispute natters.The team also work closely with many Australian and International litigation funders and are regularly briefed on third-party funded litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborating on large scale funded litigation and dispute mattersDrafting emails, correspondence, opinions, advice, and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedingsAssisting with the preparation and management of filesConducting legal research and drafting legal documentsManaging the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising documents and evidenceAttending court appearances and mediationsAbout youTo succeed in this role, you will ideally have:5+ years of post-admission litigation experienceAn excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills and strong foundational experience in commercial litigationA commitment to excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes to our clientsExceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and at times, work to tight deadlinesStrong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavitsA team player with a supportive and collaborative working styleA high attention to detail,
