Our Water Business Group is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter to join our Water Utilities team in Brisbane.
Whether you're stepping into a senior role or looking for your next technical challenge, WSP offers the support, flexibility, and career pathways to help you thrive.What You'll Be Working OnYou'll contribute to concept and detailed electrical design drafting across a range of projects, including:Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)Water and wastewater pumping stationsWastewater Network RenewalReservoir Renewal and ImprovementsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare engineering drawings from sketches, calculations, and specificationsSupport the electrical design team in developing project designsCollaborate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integrationManage project setup and documentation throughout the project lifecycleAnalyse client requirements to ensure all specifications are capturedApply quality control processes to maintain drawing accuracy and complianceAbout YouDiploma in Electrical Engineering or above; or relevant experienceExperience in a consulting environment (highly regarded)Robust drafting and detailing skillsProficient in AutoCADExperience in utilities and water infrastructure projectsSkilled in interpreting engineering designs and producing layouts, schematics, and general arrangementsMicroStation and 12D experience is advantageous but not essentialExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWhy Choose WSP?
