We are seeking an accomplishedPort Managerto take ownership of a complex, business-critical24/7 operation at Brisbane Airport.
You will lead the performance, maintenance and continuous improvement of a sophisticated baggage handling system that plays a vital role in keeping the airport moving.
With accountability across safety, people, service and commercial performance, you will set the direction, build capability and deliver results.

Your Role
You will be accountable for the overall success of the operation.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
Build a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence
Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Drive system reliability, availability and operational performance
Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Ensure contractual commitments and service standards are achieved
Manage budgets, forecasts, costs and P&L; performance
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and customer value
Lead performance reporting, operational reviews and improvement initiatives
Effectively manage resources across a complex 24/7 environment
What You will Bring
You are a visible leader who combines strong operational judgement with commercial awareness and technical understanding.
To succeed, you will bring:
8+ years' experienceacross operations, maintenance, engineering, aviation, airports, logistics, automation, manufacturing or industrial environments




Proven experience leading people within a complex operational or maintenance environment
Experience managing budgets, costs, operational performance and customer outcomes
A relevant trade, technical or tertiary qualification inelectrical, mechanical, controls, engineering or maintenance
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
A track record of developing teams and improving operational performance
Excellent planning, problem-solving and decision-making capability
The ability to remain calm, decisive and accountable under pressure
The ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Experience leading a24/7 operation, particularly within aviation, automated systems or critical infrastructure, will be highly regarded.
