The Senior Channel Manager is responsible for driving the growth, monetisation and strategic direction of multiple channels across YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms for Radar, a business unit within the WTFN corporate group.
This role combines hands-on channel management with senior oversight, reviewing and approving the work of other channel managers, leading the launch and optimisation of current channels, and using in-depth analytics to inform strategy and reporting.Working under the direction of the Head of Digital Studios, the Senior Channel Manager also mentors junior channel managers and editors, helping to build a high-performing team focused on audience growth and revenue generation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and roll out strategies and create and manage content schedules under the direction of the Pod Lead and Channel ManagerManage multiple channels across various platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TiktokGrow audiences and generate revenue through in-depth understanding and application of monetisation optimisationsCommunity management and moderationDevelop optimised video formats and brief editors to create video contentThumbnails and graphic asset creationIn-depth analysis of channel performance metrics,



collaboration on creation of reports, and writing of analytics-based reports to inform strategyReview and approve the work of other channel managers, suggesting changes and improvements where neededLead the launch of new channels, optimising them to drive growth and monetisation as quickly as possibleMaintain up-to-date knowledge on platform best practices and developments and ensure these are appliedMentor junior channel managers and editorsAny other production or channel management task as directed by the Head of Digital StudiosDemonstrable experience managing entertainment brand channels for monetisation across multiple platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TiktokProven track record of launching channels and growing audiencesExcellent written English and grammar and attention to detailProven working knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere ProDemonstrable experience of using and applying analytics and insightsProven understanding of digital rights management and monetising video content on social media platformsStrong organisation, communication and time management skillsDemonstrable experience mentoring junior team members
