Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business and ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function.About the RoleThis hands-on role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounts payable support across the business while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Key areas of responsibility include:Processing invoices, payments and expense claimsManaging supplier queries and maintaining the AP inboxPerforming invoice coding and allocations in line with company policiesPreparing weekly and ad hoc supplier paymentsMaintaining supplier records, databases and banking informationAssisting with reconciliations including supplier statements and AP ledgersSupporting month-end processes and reporting requirementsEnsuring compliance with GST requirements and internal financial controlsProviding administrative and operational support to the Finance Team as requiredAssisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the AP functionAbout YouThe successful applicant will:Have previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration rolePossess sound knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principlesHave an understanding of Goods & Services Tax (GST) requirementsBe highly organised with robust attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skillsBe proficient in Microsoft Office,



particularly Excel, Word and OutlookHave experience using accounting software or ERP systemsBe able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDisplay a positive attitude and strong team-oriented approachBe adaptable, dependable and willing to take a hands-on approachQualifications & ExperienceCertificate IV or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field is desirable2-5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role preferredWhy Join Next Gen Clubs?
