About the roleThis full-time Experienced Farm Hand position at Explicit Mountain Fairview in Greenmount, QLD ****, will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our diverse farm.
As an integral member of our close-knit team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our business.Please note - no accommodation available & position is not suitable for backpackers.What you'll be doingAssisting with a wide range of general farm duties, including animal care, crop maintenance, fencing, and equipment operation and maintenanceParticipating in the planting of cropsMaintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity proceduresCollaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvementsAdhering to all relevant workplace health and safety regulationsProactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise on the farm ie.
fences, water troughs, feeders, etcWhat we're looking forProven experience as a farm hand (minimum 2 years) or in a similar agricultural role,



preferably within the livestock or crop industriesStrong practical skills and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipmentA keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and maintenanceEffective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with othersA valid driver's licence and the willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditionsA passion for sustainable agriculture and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our farming operationsExcellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasksAustralian citizenship is required for this positionWhat we offerAt Clear Mountain Fairview, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
