We're seeking an enthusiastic Strength for Life Instructor to deliver evidence-based exercise programs that's supports adults over 50 to build strength, confidence and well-being.
If you're passionate about helping people stay active and connected, we'd love to hear from you.Location: City of Melville LeisureFit CentreSalary: LFHC 1-3 $***** - $***** per hour + 12% SuperEmployment Type: CasualWhat You'll Be DoingDeliver Strength for Life assessments and exercise programs for older adults.Facilitate safe and motivating group fitness sessions.Promote the safe use of LeisureFit facilities and equipment.Build positive relationships with participants and stakeholders.Monitor safety standards and equipment maintenance.Provide first aid and CPR support when required.Assist with program administration and promotion activitiesWhat We're Looking ForYou are a motivated fitness professional with a passion for supporting older adults to improve their health, mobility and quality of life.
You combine excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service and participant safety.
You can work independently, build rapport quickly and create a welcoming environment for people of all abilities.Essential RequirementsCertificate III in Fitness (or equivalent).
Current First Aid Certificate.Current CPR Certificate.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organisation and time management skills.Highly RegardedCertificate IV in Fitness.COTA Strength for Life Qualification.Experience working in a fitness club or health and wellbeing workplace.Experience delivering exercise programs for older adults or people managing chronic health conditionsClosing Date: Friday, 11 September ****, *****PM AWST.For further information about this position, please contact: Tom Gibbins, Supervisor Fitness Programs on .
