You will be working across a 4D/4N/4RnR roster across various sites within the Bowen Basin.

Working closely with site management, supervisors, clients, and project teams, you will ensure shutdown activities are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee major shutdown activities across multiple Bowen Basin mine sites working across a 4/4/4 rosterDevelop detailed shutdown plans, schedules, resource allocations, and execution strategiesLead and coordinate supervisors, trades personnel, contractors, and support teams to ensure successful shutdown deliveryEnsure all shutdown works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client, site, and company requirementsMonitor shutdown progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to minimise delays and maximise productivityDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shutdown performance, safety, and operational efficiencyPromote and maintain a strong safety culture across all work activitiesWhat You'll BringTrade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Fitting, Engineering, or a related disciplineCurrent S123 and G2 competenciesExtensive coal mining experience within the Bowen BasinDemonstrated experience coordinating and delivering major shutdowns within mining environmentsStrong leadership experience managing supervisors, tradespeople, contractors, and multidisciplinary teamsProven experience with dragline, shovel, CHPP,



and fixed plant maintenance shutdownsSound understanding of shutdown budgeting, project controls, and risk managementStrong commitment to workplace safety, leadership, and teamworkAbility to pass pre-employment medicals and ongoing drug and alcohol testingCurrent Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 certificationCurrent Driver's LicenceWhy Work With Us?
