About the Role
As theNominated Supervisor and Director, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the service, maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting high-quality educational practices.
This is apeople-focused leadership role.
You will work closely with the team both on and off the floor, providing support, guidance and mentoring while helping create a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
You will also build strong relationships withchildren, families and the wider community, creating trust, connection and meaningful community involvement.
This role is well suited to aconfident, approachable and collaborative leaderwho is passionate about mentoring educators, building a strong team culture and delivering excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities




Oversee theday-to-day operationsof the service
Ensure compliance with theNQF, Child Safe Standards and QIP
Support and mentor educators to achieve high-quality outcomes
Work collaborativelyon and off the floor, including assisting with lunch-break coverage when required
Manage administrative responsibilities, includingenrolments, records, compliance documentation and reporting
Maintain accurate records through theOWNA platform
Build strong and positive relationships withchildren, families and the community
Foster apositive, respectful and collaborative team culture
Support rosters, staffing requirements and service operations
Contribute tocontinuous improvement and quality outcomes
Diploma or Bachelor qualification inEarly Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
Previous experience in as aDirector in an Early Childhood Service
Strong knowledge of theNQF
Experience usingOWNA or a similar childcare management system
CurrentWorking With Children Check (WWCC)
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
