Role Snapshot
Location: Sydney or Parramatta
Projects: Water Networks, Pipelines, Pump Stations, Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants
Level: Junior to Senior
Focus: 3D modelling, digital delivery, drafting, coordination, and documentation
Platforms: Revit, AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Navisworks (Plant3D and Vault advantageous)
What You'll Do
As part of our growing national CAD and Digital Engineering community, you'll:
Develop and maintain high-quality 3D models, drawings, and documentation
Support the delivery of water infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design
Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to solve design challenges early
Produce coordinated, accurate, and constructible documentation packages
Contribute to Safety in Design, quality reviews, and design assurance processes
Support project delivery for major clients including Sydney Water, WaterNSW, and Hunter Water
Participate in site visits and construction support activities where required
Drive digital innovation and best practice modelling standards
Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
Essential
Relevant qualifications in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting, Design, or a related field
Experience delivering modelling and documentation packages within a consulting, engineering, or infrastructure environment
Strong capability in Revit, AutoCAD and Advanced Steel.
Understanding of Australian Standards and water infrastructure design requirements
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to broader project teams
Highly Regarded
Experience with Plant3D and/or Vault
Experience supporting construction-phase activities, including RFIs, mark-ups, and as-built documentation
Passion for digital engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement
Experience mentoring or supporting developing team members
