A well-established, Perth-based rebuild specialist is growing its northern suburbs workshop - and we're looking for experienced Component Fitters to join a tight-knit, trade-led team.
This is a 100% workshop-based role focused on major component rebuilds and change-out projects for underground mining equipment - strip, assess, report, rebuild - across Sandvik, CAT, Dana and Kessler gear.
No mine site pressure, no layers of management, just quality work done properly.
The Prospect
Lock in consistent, long-term metro work rebuilding underground components for a business with a strong reputation and a growing client base across WA's mining sector.
Pay: $***** - $***** per hour + super (Pending experience)
Hours: Consistent 46+ hours per week - Monday to Friday, day shift
Employment: Temp-to-Perm Casual
Location: Wangara

The Role
You'll work closely with a small, experienced crew carrying out major component rebuilds and change-out projects to strict industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Strip, inspect,
assess and rebuild mechanical components
Major component change-out projects on underground mining equipment
Diagnose component faults and identify repair requirements
Complete detailed findings and parts reports using company documentation
Read and interpret service manuals, schematics and technical drawings
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and quality control
Work unsupervised and manage your time to meet project deadlines
What You'll Need
Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification (HD Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter)
Proven component fitting experience, ideally underground mining component rebuilds
Hands-on experience with Sandvik, CAT, Dana or Kessler equipment highly regarded
Strong understanding of component disassembly and assembly procedures
Current Australian driver's licence and full Australian working rights
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A;
