Technical Writer
Location:Adelaide – Hybrid
Contract:6 months initially, with extensions likely
We are seeking an experiencedTechnical Writerto support the development, review and update of technical documentation, work instructions and procedures within a large operational environment.
The role will work closely with a range of stakeholders, includingsite teams, vendors, training, reliability, supervisors and project delivery, to ensure documentation is accurate, practical and aligned with governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and updatetechnical documentation, work instructions and procedures.
Review and validate existing documentation with relevant site and technical stakeholders.
Createmaintenance work instructionscovering different installation types and maintenance activities.
Updatemaintenance training documentationfor end users.
Rewrite and improve procedures within anIntegrated Management System (IMS).
Ensure documents meet requiredformatting, governance and document-control standards.
Manage and incorporate review comments through to final sign-off.
Conductpeer reviewsof technical documentation.
Liaise with technical and operational stakeholders to gather and validate information.
Ensure documentation is clear,



accurate, consistent and fit for operational use.
About You
Proven experience as aTechnical Writer, Document Writer, Documentation Specialist or similar.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Experience creatingwork instructions, procedures, maintenance documentation or training materials.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Experience working within structureddocument governance and document-control environments.
Ability to understand technical information and translate it into transparent, user-friendly documentation.
IT knowledge, particularly networking and communications, would be desirable.
Experience withinmining, resources, engineering, maintenance or other industrial environmentswould be advantageous.
