About the Role
If you're someone who enjoys a busy environment, loves solving problems and gets satisfaction from making all the moving pieces fit together, this could be a great next step.
We're looking for an experienced Rostering Coordinator to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis in Indooroopilly.
Sitting at the heart of day-to-day operations, you'll coordinate care staff and client schedules to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Plans will change, people will call in sick, shifts will need to be filled and priorities will move throughout the day.
You'll be the person finding solutions and keeping everything on track.
Your day will include:
Building and maintaining care staff rosters and client schedules
Managing sick calls, leave, cancellations and last-minute roster changes
Filling vacant shifts and finding solutions to gaps in coverage
Communicating regularly with care staff, clients and internal teams
Balancing client requirements with staff availability and operational needs
Maintaining accurate roster and workforce information across internal systems
Working closely with the wider team to ensure clients receive consistent and reliable care
This isn't a role where you'll spend your day quietly working through an inbox.
It's hands-on, people-focused and constantly moving.
You'll be communicating throughout the day, making decisions and managing multiple priorities at once.
About You
We're looking for someone who understands the moving parts involved in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination and can confidently step into a busy environment.
Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, allocations or workforce coordination
Experience managing high-volume rosters with frequent changes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Confidence managing competing priorities without losing attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a professional, personable approach
Confidence communicating with employees,
clients and internal stakeholders via phone and email
Strong systems capability, with experience using Sandwai highly regarded
Previous experience within aged care, home care, disability, healthcare or community services highly regarded
Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership.
When the roster changes unexpectedly, you don't just identify the problem.
You start working on the solution.
The Benefits
Permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term stability
Access to not-for-profit salary packaging, helping you maximise your take-home pay
Convenient Indooroopilly location
Join an established and respected organisation within the aged care sector
Supportive and cooperative team environment
Play an important role in supporting the delivery of care within the community
Varied position with plenty of opportunity to problem-solve and take ownership
Build on your experience within the growing aged care and community services sector
