Our Client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to take ownership of critical IT infrastructure and act as the senior technical escalation point across the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly capable across server administration, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation and security, and enjoys balancing operational support with infrastructure improvement projects.
You'll play a key role in maintaining system performance, security and availability while contributing to technology upgrades, cloud initiatives and ongoing business improvements.

You'll play a key role in maintaining system performance, security and availability while contributing to technology upgrades, cloud initiatives and ongoing business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
Manage virtualisation platforms, backups, disaster recovery and system security




Support and optimise network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs
Lead troubleshooting of complex infrastructure and application issues
Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology projects
Participate in an on call roster
About You
Proven experience in a Level 3 Support, Senior Systems Administrator or Infrastructure roles in a on prem environment
Strong expertise across Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
Advanced Microsoft 365 administration experience including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching
Experience supporting VMware, Hyper-V, cloud platforms and enterprise security solutions
Attend the office in Fortitude Valley and perform a site visit each fortnight (Lockyer Valley)
