An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Environmental Adviser to join the HSET team at our Maules Creek Mine.
This role will provide environmental support to site operations, ensuring compliance with environmental management plans, legislation and regulatory requirements.You will play an important role in maintaining and improving the environmental performance of the operation, while supporting rehabilitation programs, environmental monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
Provide environmental advice to site operations to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance
Coordinate environmental monitoring across noise, blasting, water, dust and meteorology
Develop, implement and maintain Environmental Management Plans
Support mine rehabilitation programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare environmental compliance reports and coordinate environmental contractors and consultants
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or equivalent
Knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and statutory requirements
Experience in environmental management and Environmental Management Plans
Experience in rehabilitation planning and implementation
Experience with environmental monitoring, databases and GIS programs
Minimum 5 years mining industry experience, with strong stakeholder and communication skills
