The prospect
As a Civil Contracts Officer, you'll play a key role inmaintaining and protecting Council's CivilInfrastructure,includingroads, drainage and footpaths.
Working closely withcontractors, residents and internal stakeholders, you'll overseecontracts, inspections, permits and compliance activities to ensurehigh quality services are delivered safely, efficiently and in linewith Council standards.
What you'll do
Administer and monitor civil maintenance contracts and contractor performance.
Conduct inspections of roads, drainage, footpaths and municipal infrastructure.
Assess permits, bonds and applications, ensuring compliance with Council requirements.
Investigate compliance matters and support enforcement activities where required.
Respond to customer enquiries, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records
What you need to succeed
Certificate IV or Diploma in CivilConstruction,Infrastructure,Compliance, Local Government, or related field.
Experience in contract administration, civil maintenance,



compliance or local government operations.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, local laws, Councilpolicies and standards.
Strong stakeholder engagement and customer serviceskills.
Competency in Microsoft Office and record or asset management systems

Pre-Employment Requirements
Progressed candidates will be required to complete a NationalPolice Record Check and a Pre-Employment Medical Check.
Candidates must also holda valid Victorian Driver's License.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident orhold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted workingrights.
