We're looking for a Project Manager to join us to be accountable for the successful delivery of construction projects, taking projects from Preconstruction handover through to successful final completion on site.
The Project Manager has a strong focus on timely client and management reporting, safety performance, cost control, quality of workmanship, program certainty, and client satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with Site Managers and clients, owning their work, solving problems, and seeing projects through to construction on time, on budget with superior client satisfaction levels.
Key responsibilities
Ensure projects are delivered safely in accordance with WHS requirements and Perfect Practice safety standards
Maintain accurate, timely, and transparent client reporting, including issuing weekly Project Update Reports
Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including program status, cost position, forecasting, and risks
Manage project programs to ensure milestones, practical completion, and final completion dates are achieved
Ensure quality of workmanship meets Perfect Practice standards, consultant requirements, and client expectations
Manage project costs to ensure no gross profit loss, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions early
Ensure all variations, scope changes, and client instructions are clearly documented,
approved, and communicated
Work closely with the Site Manager to coordinate site activities, sequencing, and subcontractor performance
Ensure subcontractors perform in line with safety, quality, program, and contractual requirements
Proactively identify and escalation risks, delays, or potential cost overruns to the Head of Delivery
About you
Experience as a construction Project Manager
Experience in commercial or healthcare projects (preferred)
Experience using project management tools and systems
Highly organised with robust attention to detail
Confident communicator and team collaborator
Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
