Job Description
We are hiring experiencedMetal Sheet Fabricators / Metal Fabricatorsfor a reputed engineering company in Australia.
The ideal candidate should have strong workshop fabrication experience, expertise in MIG welding, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and fabricate high-quality metal components.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication work.
Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal sheets and steel components accurately.
Operate fabrication equipment such as rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, shears, and other workshop machinery.
Perform welding using SMAW, MMA, MIG, and TIG processes.
Carry out grinding, polishing, finishing, and surface preparation.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures while maintaining quality and safety standards.




Ensure all work is completed according to engineering specifications and company procedures.
Salary:AUD$40–$43 per hour
Requirements
Minimum3 years of experienceas a Metal Sheet Fabricator / Metal Fabricator.
Trade qualification as aMetal Fabricator, Boilermaker, Welder, or equivalent.
Strong hands-on experience inMIG welding, especially on mild steel.
Experience fabricating and weldingSHS and RHS steel sections.
Mandatory experience inagricultural equipment fabrication/repairsand/ortransport/logistics fabrication.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work independently.
