As a Secondary Engineer working with the Transmissions team, your impact will be in the design of panel layouts, schematics, protection settings, cable/wiring schedules and related documentation related to the design of HV and EHV terminal stations and substations.
Key Responsibilities
Undertaking secondary design for substations and terminal stations to a high technical standard
Manage outcomes within budget and project programme constraints whilst maintaining high levels of technical performance
Review work as part of the peer review process from time to time as may be required
Effectively manage the detail design from concept through to final design implementation to agreed scope, quality, time frames and budgets
Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements
To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience with demonstrated experience on electrical transmission projects.
In addition, you will also have:
An Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
Demonstrated experience with secondary design in networks above 66 kV
Experience with IEC *****
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
