UGL is seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand to lead lighting replacement programs and electrical maintenance activities across the University of Queensland's extensive St Lucia campus.
n
This is a hands‐on leadership chance where you'll coordinate electricians, manage daily work activities and deliver electrical upgrade projects across one of Brisbane's largest and most technically diverse facilities environments.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Lead campus-wide lighting replacement and upgrade programs
n
Coordinate electricians and subcontractors across multiple work fronts
n
Support electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works
n
Liaise with UQ stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
n
Provide technical leadership while remaining hands‐on in the field
n
About You
n
Current Electrical Workers Licence
n
Experience delivering lighting upgrades or replacement projects
n
Strong fault‐finding, maintenance and troubleshooting skills
n
Excellent communication and team leadership capability
n

UGL is the electrical maintenance partner for the University of Queensland supporting a large and complex campus environment with diverse infrastructure, ongoing asset replacement programs and a strong pipeline of electrical works. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful lighting upgrade projects while working in a stable Monday‐to‐Friday environment with a supportive team and strong safety culture.
