Little Zak's Academy is a privately owned, family-run early childhood organisation providing high-quality education and care in a safe and nurturing environment.

We are seeking a Full time Cook/Chef to join our Burwood Heights centre and prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children aged 0-5 years.
n
About the Role
n
n
Full time position, Monday-Friday (approx. 7:00am-3:00pm)
n
Prepare morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea using a rotating menu
n
Cater for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural needs
n
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
n
Manage food ordering within budget and receive deliveries
n
Work with the Centre Director on menu planning
n
Engage positively with children and staff throughout the day
n
n
About You
n
n
Experience in cooking, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments (childcare experience desirable)
n
Knowledge of food safety and allergy management
n
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, First Aid,



and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
