Position Summary
n
The College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a part‐time (0.6 FTE) Sports Coordinator within our dynamic Sports team. The position commences Term 3, ****, and is expected to conclude at the end of Semester 2, ****. The role involves a 0.6 FTE part‐time load spread across four days per week, including Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage team sports across multiple sports for students in Years K‐12
n
Manage sport representative oathways, trials, matches, and training sessions
n
Collaborate with the Sports Department team to deliver and attend sports carnivals and events
n
Manage facility bookings, equipment,



and weekly competition schedules
n
Communicate with coaches, parents, students, and officials
n
Implement risk management procedures across a variety of venues
n
Assist in driving participation numbers and sport performance
n
n
Skills and Qualifications
n
n
Willingness to work across various sports, including badminton, netball, hockey and/or basketball
n
Previous experience working in schools (highly beneficial)
n
Understanding of IGSA representative sports pathways (highly beneficial)
n
Excellent organisational, administration, time‐management, and communication skills
n
Ability to organise sports programs, trials, training, and games
n
Availability to work outside of regular school hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, Saturdays, non‐term time, and sports trips/tours
n
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in sport or a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
n
Working With Children Check clearance (provide number and date of birth)
