About the role
n
The Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant (AAHA) supports allied health professionals to provide culturally responsive,
protected and high-quality Allied Health Services within the Central Australian community.
n
The AAHA will support one or more of the following allied health disciplines; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Eye Health/Vision rehabilitation, Diabetes Nurse education, Audiology, Disability and aged care and/or Dietetics.
n
This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. The AAHA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals to ensure the smooth running of the Allied Health teams.
n
This position incorporates support to complete formal training (Certificate III or IV) in Allied Health Assistance for those who have not yet undertaken formal training.
n
