Our client is delivering large infrastructure programs and has created a Finance Manager – Projects Control role to build a robust, audit-ready financial and documentation trail across a major, nationally significant project.

About the Role

Establish and maintain financial documentation and controls that support regulatory audit and compliance requirements
n
Build a clear audit trail linking project decisions, approvals and variations to project expenditure
n
Partner with planning, commercial and delivery teams to synthesise complex project history into clear, defensible records
n
Support cost governance and reporting across a major, regulated capital program
n
Develop scalable processes and controls that can be extended to other projects as the function matures
n
Liaise with internal regulatory specialists to ensure alignment with sector expectations
n

About You
n
n
Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CA/CPA (or equivalent)
n
Career started in audit (external or internal); currently working in a project finance, project accounting or commercial finance capacity
n




Comfortable operating inside a live project environment — working alongside planning, delivery and commercial teams, not just reviewing after the fact
n
Strong documentation, financial control and process discipline, with the ability to synthesise complex project history into transparent, audit-ready records
n
Exposure to large, regulated organisations or capital programs; familiarity with regulatory frameworks is a plus, not a requirement
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with project, planning and commercial leads
n
