We want people who have lived through the realities of projects and organisations: difficult clients, designers and contractors, ambiguity, competing priorities, team dynamics, delivery pressure, and the need to create clarity when things are messy. The idea of genuinely understanding what our clients are experiencing in order to create breakthrough changes.
Key responsibilities
Own client engagements end to end and progress them without close supervision
Deliver advisory work across major project and program performance, leadership, roles and accountability, procurement and team effectiveness
Work across project delivery, procurement / transaction and project-establishment environments, depending on experience and client need
Act as a thinking partner to our Queensland Director, and the wider Alchimie team
Confidently lead and facilitate difficult conversations with senior stakeholders and hold your ground when it matters
Contribute to proposals and help convert opportunities in the Queensland pipeline




Grow into a senior leader within our emerging Queensland cohort
About you
Worked inside real major project environments and understand what makes them hard
Can create clarity when things are messy, and credible enough to be in front of an key client quickly
Proven consulting or advisory delivery, operating independently with senior stakeholders
Sector experience in rail, road, water or energy
Strong delivery discipline and follow-through
Sound judgement about clients, and the confidence to challenge them
Some network and work-generation capability
Curiosity, openness, and the willingness to be challenged as well as to challenge
Enough lived experience to bring judgement, not just process
Background from Tier 1 contractor, owner or developer, network business, major program, or consulting. Public sector experience welcome where it sits alongside commercial or delivery exposure
What we're looking for
Substantial experience consulting or advisory delivery, plus lived experience inside real major projects
Worked through the messy parts. Ambiguity, competing priorities, difficult stakeholders
Facilitation and workshop design with senior stakeholders
Analysis and synthesis. Turning noise into something a client can act on.
Preferable independently owned client engagements end to end
