Job Description
Salon Hair Care is a third-generation, family-owned hair and beauty wholesaler supplying skilled salons across South Australia. We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to join our team at our Edwardstown Head Office, working 3-4 days per week.

Working closely with our Purchasing team, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is ordered, received and maintained accurately across our stores and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
n
Accurately input, process, and manage purchase orders
n
Maintain and update supplier records and contacts
n
Liaise with suppliers regarding stock, services, deliveries, invoices, and account enquiries
n
Monitor outstanding orders and delivery timeframes
n
Enter and maintain new inventory items within our system
n
Maintain product pricing, including promotional and supplier price changes
n
Review supplier price lists and notify management of cost increases or changes
n
Manage stock transfers and general inventory administration across the business
n
Coordinate regular stock takes, including counting, scanning, and reconciliation
n
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances
n




Support the day-to-day coordination of purchasing and inventory processes
n
Skills & Experience
n
Previous experience in administration, purchasing, inventory or a similar role
n
Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system is highly regarded
n
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
n
Experience working with large product ranges or inventory systems would be an advantage
n
