About the role
n
NIIWA, our Japanese izakaya style venue is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in our Fortitude Valley location. This is a full time position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our vibrant restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

What you'll be doing
n
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and budgeting
n
Lead and motivate a team of front‐of‐house and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
n
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall performance of the restaurant
n
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
n
Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
n
Liaise with suppliers and manage inventory to optimise costs and minimise waste
n
Monitor customer feedback and implement continuous improvements to address any concerns
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably within the hospitality industry
n
Strong leadership and people management skills,



with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers, staff, and suppliers
n
Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and cost control
n
Thorough knowledge of food safety, health, and licensing regulations
n
Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
