About ACT Health Centre
n
Home to the Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri-service military academy. The Health Centre opened mid-**** and is a large facility. It services approximately **** military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24-bed low dependency ward whichoperates24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental
health,pharmaceuticaland
physiotherapy. Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles.



Standard hours of operation aregenerally *********Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groupsrequiredfor weekend and on-call shifts).

This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. After-hours,weekendand on-call shifts may be required depending on role requirements and base location.

Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
n
Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
n
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting where patient wellness is paramount
n
n
What you bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
n
FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
n
Minimum two years' GP experience in the last five years in a GP Setting (GPT counts)
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian
Citizenshiprequired(Baseline
Security Clearance)
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
n
