THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our operations at
Woodlawn Mine, Tarago.
In this role, you will oversee the stockpiling and loading of mineral concentrates, coordinate labour and shift activities, conduct safety meetings and handovers, and ensure compliance with site, safety and customer requirements.
You will lead site personnel, oversee weighbridge operations and equipment maintenance, complete operational reporting, and liaise with clients, contractors and employees to achieve safe and efficient outcomes. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills in a dynamic mining workplace.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within mining, logistics, transport or bulk materials handling operations
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance, including participation in safety initiatives and meetings
Experience leading and supervising operational teams, including labour allocation, rosters and shift activities
Experience implementing and maintaining site procedures, policies and operational standards
Experience monitoring operational compliance, including load management and transport requirements
Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and liaising with maintenance personnel and contractors
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a key point of contact for site personnel, clients and contractors
Strong leadership skills with experience managing performance, coaching and developing employees
Experience preparing operational reports and completing administrative tasks
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Current unrestricted driver's licence
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
DESIRED:
Experience operating or supervising mobile plant and equipment




Experience within mining or mineral concentrate handling operations
Experience overseeing weighbridge operations and load compliance requirements
High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) or other relevant machinery licences
