Quality Assurance Officer

Our client is a well-established Australian-owned food processing business looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Officer to help keep quality, food safety and compliance standards on track.
n
The Role:
n
You'll work across the operation, including production, warehouse and dispatch, ensuring processes are followed and documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Quality, hygiene and food safety inspections
n
Maintaining HACCP, quality and compliance documentation
n
Preparing for internal, external and customer audits
n
Managing non-conformances and corrective actions
n
Checking product, packaging, labels and traceability
n
Supporting WHS and compliance requirements
n
Developing and updating SOPs, work instructions and checklists
n
Assisting with supplier, logistics and fleet compliance
n
n
About You
n




You'll ideally have experience in QA, food safety, compliance or operational administration, preferably within food manufacturing, meat processing, warehousing or another regulated environment.
n
You'll also bring
n
n
Exceptional attention to detail
n
Strong documentation and organisational skills
n
Experience supporting audits and compliance programs
n
A proactive, problem-solving approach
n
Solid communication and Microsoft Office skills
n
n
HACCP, food safety, WHS or internal auditing experience will be highly regarded.
n
