Childcare Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor

This is a full time, off-the-floor leadership position within a well-established, modern, medium-to-large-sized boutique Early Learning service in Gosford - Central Coast Area. The Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor is supported by a 2IC and EL who provides hands-on leadership across the floor, allowing the Director to focus on people, compliance, families, quality, occupancy and overall centre performance.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead the overall operation, performance and culture of the centre, oversee daily centre operations, including staffing, ratios, budgets, and parent communication
n
Ensure the service operates in compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
n
Maintain a strong child-safe culture and ensure high standards of supervision, health and safety
n
Lead, support and develop the 2IC, Educational Leader, Room Leaders and educators
n
Manage recruitment, induction, performance management, staff development and retention
n
Oversee staffing levels, permanent rosters, qualifications and regulatory requirements
n
Build strong, professional relationships with children, families and the local community
n
Monitor occupancy,



enrolments, enquiries and centre tours, and actively support centre growth
n
Lead the Quality Improvement Plan and maintain ongoing Assessment & Rating readiness
n
About you
n
This role suits a confident Centre Manager or Nominated Supervisor who can take ownership of daily operations and lead a team effectively.
n
Diploma or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred
n
Experience as a Centre Manager or Nominated Supervisor
n
3+ years' experience as a Centre Manager or Nominated Supervisor is preferred
n
Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and NQS
n
Experience with Assessment & Rating and Quality Improvement Plans
n
Solid leadership and communication skills
n
Ability to build a stable and positive team environment
